Set up a stall at The Winkle Mall held at St James yesterday.
Organised by The Dime Group, the flea was one of the worst that i have been to.
A total waste of time, effort and most of all, money.
This is the email i sent to them after the event:
Hi,
Hope that I can provide some feedback for yesterday's event.
My stall was situated at Dragonfly and the crowd was really bad.
I heard from some of the passer-bys that they didn’t even know that there were stalls at the back of St James and they only realised at the end of the day which is 4pm, when most of the stall owners were already so disheartened, they have packed up and left.
Majority of the crowd just visited the rooms that were at the front of St James. Most don't bother to walk to the back because there wasn’t any indications that there were more stalls at the back.
I was really disappointed with the arrangement. The crowd is so bad that I couldn’t even cover for rental, plus all the transportation fees occurred, let alone the effort that I have taken to prepare for the flea.
I can literally count the number of potential customers that walk past my stall, very honestly, less than 30 girls walked past my stall throughout the whole event.
This is not only happening to my stall because I noticed that for all the stalls around me, they didn’t even manage to sell anything and this is really sad.
I was at the Swap and Shop event for the past 2 years consecutively and my sales have always been good.
I am really shocked and disappointed with the response this year.
Hope that you guys can take my feedback and improve.

Seriously, in my opinion, if they are really apologetic, they should go all out and make a refund to all those who were located at Dragonfly. Even if it is only a partial refund, i will accept their apology and move on with it. But right now, i'm not happy with their reply. Yes, at least they response in a polite manner, but they don't seem to be bothered by my "complaint" since they have already pocketed all the rental. I'm sure that i'm not the only one suffering.
An advise to those who plan to sign up a flea with The Dime Group in the future, DON'T TAKE THE RISK.
You have been warned, do not commit suicide, its not worth it.
